The Massillon Area Car Club was Founded by Herb Geiger in 1974, Initially to provide more cars for the Memorial Day Parade in Downtown Massillon.
Our passion is cars and our interest in classic and antique cars brings us all together to share what we love. As a group we have a collection that ranges from rare and vintage cars to some of the newest made, and we love to show them off. While we'll always appreciate the classics, we have expanded to include more modern day models, making way for the cars that are instant hits!

"I've never seen a car I didn't like" is our motto! We focus on pre-1990 Cars, but all Collectible Cars are welcome. We pride ourselves with the diversity our club has to offer. Gear heads to novices are welcome!

President Dan Becker and all of the members of the Massillon Area Car Club would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Our next Car Club meeting will be hosted by Anne and Linda. It will be held at the Dennys Restaurant on Tusc in Canton, Ohio on June 7th. Meeting will start at 5:00PM.
Each member is asked to bring a side item or dessert.

Dick Studer has been experiencing some medical problems and has been in the hospital. Let's all remember to keep DIck and Charlotte in our thoughts and prayers. Our club is very much like a family and that's what family does!

Our Featured Member for January is long time member and U.S. Navy veteran, Merl Garmin. Merl has been very active in our club. He sells 50/50 tickets at our shows and is now writing and producing the club newsletter. Thank you Merl for all that you do!

For the 2025 Christmas Season the Massillon Area Car Club raised money and made donations to Akron Children's Hospital, Legacy of Hope, Mason White, and Tin Can Sailor, We all feel very blessed to be able to donate to these organizations this Christmas season. It is important to us to give back to our communities.
Yes, our club is centered around the vintage automobile hobby, but we are also focused on helping others and improving our community.
Thank you Massillon Area Car Club members for all of the outstanding things you do!

The Massillon Area Car Club would like to thank Dick and Charlotte Studer for their service to the community. At our May meeting Dick and Charlotte requested that we donate to a handicapped child in need. The club voted to donate twice the requested amount to this worthy cause. We are in this club to enjoy and share our hobby, but it is so nice when we are also given the opportunity to give back to our community and to those in need. Thank you Dick and Charlotte for affording us that opportunity!

Bob and Sue Hughes with their Restomod Ford Pickup.
I like to call this truck the Wolf in Sheep's clothing. Bob and Sue built this truck and it looks like a super mint example of a 60's vintage Ford Pickup, but in reality it is a Corvette in disguise! If you see this truck sitting at a red light, you might want to think twice before revving your engine. This wolf has teeth!

Merle and Linda Garmin with their retro Thunderbird. Merle and Linda are building a 1947 Ford Restomod Pickup. It should be on the road next month and will be featured here as soon as we get some pictures!
